Undergraduate Admission

Admission to the University of Wisconsin-Madison
Admission requirements have been established by the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents, Faculty Senate, and, in some cases, individual schools, colleges, and departments. Admission is competitive; it is not possible to admit all qualified applicants. Students with the strongest qualifications, including grades earned, academic courses taken (such as honors, advanced placement, and college level courses), and admission test scores, will have the greatest chances of admission. Personal characteristics that will contribute to the strength and diversity of the university community will also be considered. For current information on applying to UW-Madison, contact:

2. By filling out the "Major Declaration Form" available with the graduate coordinator in room 1238 Van Hise Hall. This form can be used to add or cancel majors at any time prior to graduation. The Undergraduate Office will then report the change to the Registrar.
